Submit a Prayer Request Online
DIRECTOR: Pastor Susie Berry

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: Pastor Ashley Pendley

All ladies are welcome to attend our meetings. We meet the second Thursday night of each month at 7 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall.

We have snacks, fellowship, praise and worship, a guest speaker, and then we have special prayer for any prayer requests. We are learning who we are in Christ, what our callings are and how to minister to the hurting and lost.

How can you get involved? Join us in these ministries - you are needed and wanted!!

  1. We publish and mail a monthly newsletter to 120 women. Some of our women have submitted their own testimonies/articles for publication.
  2. We prepare and deliver gift bags full of toiletry items, a Bible and a letter of encouragement to the women staying at the Domestic Violence Shelter.
  3. We prepare and deliver to the Courthouse a gift bag containing the Righteous Marriage Series taught by our Pastors, a small gift and a letter of congratulations. These are made available to everyone applying for a marriage license in Okmulgee County.
  4. We hold an arts and crafts show twice a year during the Bean Dinners in November and December. We rent spaces to the community.
  5. We provide a CD with a message from Pastor Berry on “The Man with a Problem”, a Bible and a letter of encouragement to all participants in Okmulgee County Drug Court and Mental Health Court..
  6. We host one day of the annual Women of Worship Conference, including the luncheon. It is an amazing day in the Lord, with guest speaker, choir and special guest soloists. The luncheon seats 300 and includes door prizes and testimony time. Patricia Key, Director of Women’s Ministries serves as Co-Chairman of this Conference along with 5 members of WM’s that serve on the committee.
  7. We give love offerings to individuals in the community as the Holy Spirit leads.
  8. We provide an evening meal to any woman upon release from the hospital and unable to cook for herself or family.

Funeral Dinners

When there is a death in our church or our pastor calls us about a family that would like the church to help with the funeral dinner, we find out when, where and how many we need to prepare for. Our funeral committee has a list of the amount of food that is necessary to feed different sizes of families. We call different ones of the church and have them prepare a certain item and inform them when and where to bring their dish. This is usually served in the fellowship hall or gym before the funeral. If you could help with preparing a dish or help us in serving the food to the family, please contact the church. We can always use more help.
