Watch For It

God was so gracious when He sent His word to be made flesh for us
so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. When we
receive the revelation knowledge of this truth, which sets us free from
poverty, sickness, turmoil, dissension and every other adverse
circumstance and truly comprehend, receiving it deep in our spirit,
we are on top of the world, waiting to reap the fruits of our faith.
Then, all of a sudden, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. We find ourselves in
the middle of utter chaos. How did this happen, and most of all, why?
We were doing so good. We felt so close to God. The Word was
supposed to be all powerful.
Don't worry, the Word IS all powerful. Jesus warned us about this
kind of attack in John 4:17 when he said, "....when trouble or
persecution comes BECAUSE OF THE WORD..." Jesus went on to explain to
his disciples that every time we receive seed, the Word, Satan comes to
steal it. That's how powerful the word really is. Satan knows that
this weapon will not allow him to prosper against us. We should be
encouraged when we go through trials. I often tell my husband that he
should feel honored to be such a threat to the enemy. An old friend in
the Lord used to always say that if you don't run into the enemy, you
and he must be going in the same direction. Learn to face Satan head
on; be prepared for the attacks equipping yourself with the word. This
will be a process that will make you a warrior.
Pastor has recently been passionate about this passage in Micah 7:8,
"Do not gloat over me my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise.
Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." The Lord will
shed light in your darkness by the power of the Word. Remember,
always "WATCH FOR IT!"
